Ive got a temp gauge in my car since for ever but never connected it because i dont have a sandwich adaptor and dont feel like drilling the sump while its on the motor. Tried to tap it into a sumpplug but that didnt leave enough metal on the sides so the sumpplug tore the tread clean of.
Sorry of the topic i suppose.
