Diff oil

Post by Wes »

I'm wanting to change the diff oil in my SX so I went down to nissan looking for API GL5 stuff. They gave me Total Transmission TM SAE 85w-140 (which is API GL5), but I see that in the manual 80w-90 is the recommended diff oil. Is the stuff they gave me safe to use in the SX?
