S13 Electric Window Problem

Yesterday my window went down and didnt come back up. Took the door panel off and can hear the motor running when you press the up switch but nothing turning. Now if you put your hand under the glass and give it a hand it goes up?

Could be a motor issue or gear problem, many things. Cheapest way is to get a new winder mechanisum.

motor sounds like it still working think some gear or something has been stripped

Could be something silly like a disconnected wire.

Rat... sorry got your PM, but I am also having the odd problem with my winders... can't sell you the one I got from smoothedgp over the weekend... I might just struggle to get others if mine decides to give up the ghost.

My problematic one is the driver side door.

My problem could be as easy as wiring or switch... but I haven't been able to sort it out... I think my car is allergic to shopping centres and rainy wheather... seems to always happen when I really need to close the window...

ok found out what is wrong

There is a plastic gear in the motor which is stripped. So looking for a motor.
