Hey guys,
Do any of you have the January issue of Speed and Sound?, there's a 200sx in there fitted with and Audi TT inlet manifold.
Is the guy on this forum or does anyone else have any details on how this manifold fits or what modifications are required to make it fit?
The article didn't mention any details and the photo was too small to make out any detail but it looks like it makes it much easier to get access to the injectors, as well as allowing for a second set of injectors in the Audi manifold.

Its George, he's here very seldom, his nick is Gremlin.
I had a closer look on Saturday and chatted to him, in a nutshell, he has a Jap 8 port head, they've bolted the Audi manifold to the set of intake runners where the butterflies are (If you've seen a 8 port you'll know what I mean) and removed the butterflies alltogether, amazingly the runners/ports lined up that with enough porting they were perfect, but holes needed to be drilled and tapped for the Audi bolts holes to the CA runners. He's using a CA throttle body as its bigger than the Audi and fits the accell cable with no mods.
I cant see any real benefits over stock, he had a FWD CA intake before this, it goes over the motor (like a RB25) and couldnt get a RWD one so they made the Audi one fit, also means he has place for his 8 (yes, 8 ) injectors, 4 in the CA Runners and 4 in the Audi Manifold.

Sweet, thanks for the info guys.
So his main reason for doing it was because he couldn't get a rwd manifold.
If is able to fit to an 8port intermediate manifold then it should fit the intermediate manifold of a 4 port with similar modifications. Am I correct in saying the main part of the 200sx manifold is the same for both 4 and 8 port, and its just the intermediate part with the butterflies and the head that are different on an 8 port?
I like that it looks as if access to the injectors is easier and I suppose it opens up more options with regards to what injectors you can use, not necessarily using all 8 but perhaps using vw aftermarket injectors and plugging the standard holes, or the other way around.
