hmmm no one on the bottle?

how come? I'm thinking my CA is gonna make one last leap for glory before it gets the boot.

I do not want to spend too much so a direct port system is out. Single fogger wet shot is in.

Anyone know how well the stock CA 4 port intake manifold flows? In particular how EVENLY it distributes air to the 4 cylinders? I'd hate for one of them to run more lean than the rest and blow up on me.

Also, how much do you think a CA can take? 100 shot?

which system are you using? (name brand)

and what setup will you be running? dry, wet, single fogger, size of shot etc?

also, where did you buy it and how much if I may ask?

Don't have on the SX... had on a VW - still have the solenoids, fogger, bottle etc. Not selling though - will go into the SX for show.

Ran nos for 2 years on the dub.

Motor - 8 valve VW
System - single fogger wet shot - holley NOS
0.28 Nos Jet
0.25 Fuel Jet
Made more than 50kw atw

Cost including installation should not be more than R4 000.
I think if you check Turbo and Nos connection you can find all the goodies for R2 500 - not installed excluding first filled bottle.

(Price has come down quite a lot in the last couple of years)

Upside - how much power do you want
Downsides - 1 - Expensive hobby/pasttime - I used to finish a bottle in an evening - very addictive (R500/bottle)
Even getting the stuff directly from AFROX works out expensive - also dangerous to fill at home
2 - Nos runs out way too quickly.

Rather save the money for a turbo upgrade

I want to add it to my N/A car. The sx is going to get water/meth injection only.

The n/a car has itb's so I'll have to go direct port. How big is the bottle you used?

the standard size - 24lbs including the gas - bottle only = 14lbs, so can fit 10lbs of nos

oh yes, and if you are going this route-
installation angle is important
make sure all connection are properly fastened before opening the bottle
(safety and not to loose your expensive gas)
close bottle when car is parked, or NOS not going to be used
(pressure may cause solenoid failure leading to all cylinders filled with NOS residu)
Make sure fuel pressure is enough for NOS system and normal operation of engine.
Some serious NOS lovers use a different fuel pump for the NOS.
