Help plz..wen i start my car it runs fine,as soon as idle sets to 1000rpm n engine is warm.if i rev it hard the revs drop al the way dwn n abt to cut off then stabalises at 1000rpm..also wn drivin if i drop the cluth n hit brakes the revs js drop n the car cuts..any ideas as what mite b the prblm???

Do you have a BOV?
Does it close after dumping?
Do you have any air leaks?
Check all the vacuum pipes and make sure they are connected.
Some more info on your mods and engine then everyone can help you.

TPS, this was covered before, also see service manual, to set tps, for idle switch setting.

I think Chems got it there ,but also make sure your spark plug are lekker and the gaps are right(exectly right).

When was your car last serviced? I had a similar problem until my petrol filter was replaced.
It's probably plugs or coil packs though.
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

Hey guys.tnx fr the warm welcme..its runing on a high presure fuel pump,fuel regulator,biger injector,garett trbo,blitz boost controler,frnt mt intercooler,air intake and aftrmakt exhaust..no bov..!i cnt seem to find the service manual for idle seting....tnx again

How do you control the fueling if its the stock ECU??

Sounds to me like it's overfuelling...

I wud if i cud..im frm zambia and no tuners ere..i fited new plugs n i increasd the idle a litle..not cutin of on me..stl trble shooting...
