Ja, a Walbro 255 lhp fuel pump seems the way to go. I've only heard good things about these and you can pick them up cheaper than a stock replacement from Nissan!

I have the exact same problem. Anyone have the part number for the Bosch replacement? The one similar to Walbro? I need to get this changed before my drive down to Durbs...

Toby fit the Walbro and be done with it, it is far superior to the Bosch pump.
Guys Walbro make standard replacement pump aswell, so for $59 you may be buying the stock replacement pump even though they told you its the 255lt/h pump. The pump is RBSX's old sx was meant to be a 255lt/h pump and its not, the pump can hold supply the fuel at 4000rpm for more than a few seconds.

Ok, I've replaced my fuel pump. I went to Autozone and all they had was a universal VDO (made by Siemens) fuel pump rated at 3.8bar for R517 excl VAT. Since I had no choice, I opted for it. It fitted quite well, even though it's about half the size of the standard pump (I used rubber pieces and cable ties to hold it in place), but it's great quality (used by OEMs) and is a high pressure pump. I've tested it on full boost and it works perfectly, and even solved some starting issues I had with the old pump. The old pump, which was fitted by Chip Logic, had bits welded on, bits hacksawed off, and the filter glued on! I'm so glad it's not in my car anymore
