High Mileage Motor

If a 200sx engine has done 286 000Km. But the motor and turbo has been reconditioned 6000Km ago, how reliable will the motor be? How long will this engine last? Or may it be safer to source a different motor like another ca or a Sr20 for instance?

if the rebuild was done properly that is as close to new that enjin will ever see again. So it wil last until you brake it.

I agree with the other guys. I also have owned many nissans and teh only serious failure was a water pipe on the inlet at 200kmh. so the heat gauge did not show anything till i slowed. it caused the rings to temper and thy shattered soon afterward. So i have faith in the brand but always go with your gut!!!!
