Im to lazy to read so im thum sucking here but i think that somewhere in you revband the ecu send higher voltage to your fuelpump and also change the vacuum via the acc valve to your fpr in order to juice a bit more but if the voltage change doesnt make the pump deliver more fuel pressure you might have this affect due to starvation. Maybe VC or someone knowing the car better can correct me on this.

hey dude, got mine on monday afternoon, our cleaner stacked it with my magazines, so I only found it tuesday morning  . Gary's dad fitted for me today. can't run at the moment cos the road is wet. kinda feels like the power delivery is better tho. don't know if i'm imagining kW here. guys, what would a walbro 255 do to power delivery?

Sorry to say but yes it can.

Happened to me too. (My previous car.)

a high performance engine can only produce power = to the amount of A/F it receives. Take it like this, if I put a FPR on your car and set it to 1 bar your car wont go very well, on a dyne the max power figures would be down in the dumps. But let it get the right amount of fuel and bobs your uncle!

although, i still have this feeling its gona stumble again. my IC and the piping are not exactly performance friendly. my hot and cold pipes are squashed against my bonnet, so i think i need ot get that sorted to be rid of this prob

I dont think it would push up the power alot if the car is running fine but then we wont change our pumps. Think it gives back what youve lots with the f**ked pump and a bonus for being nice. What did it di to your feul consumption is what i want to know?

I don't really watch fuel consumption, cos I only use the car on a saturday, i just fill bout r100 for the day. i'm going for a dicktator after i fit my IC and piping so I'll probably have a better idea then.
