temp gauge problems ca18det s13

Hi guys, got a strange problem with my standard dash temp gauge. just started today i noticed my temp gauge jumping around when i rev. It evans goes past the red, but the car is def not over heating. When i switch the car off & just turn the key till the lights come on i get the true temp reading but after starting the car the gauge starts jumping around. mostly when i rev.

Anybody come across the same problem.

We saw that on my car on the dyno.

But....when I accelerated the temp gauge went down as my revs climbed up.

mayb faulty earth or connection oxodized take the plug off and spray connection cleaner

somewhere by the intake mani it is loose had the same thing with mine.
