Post by HancoB »

Hi, What do you think of these injectors.

Are they worth the ching?

Has anyone had some experience with them?

RC in very good injectors, You will need a High flow fuel pump if you don't have one already you will also need a management system to get the fueling correct and you will need to remove your dropping resistor

gtr injectors are a straight fit - 450cc. not sure if they low or high impedance!

rx7 13bt injectors are a straight fit - 550cc. also not sure of impedance, but i think they low like the stock s13 ones!

750cc bosch type injectors
This Could work, But it does depend on the pentil cap and if it can fit the rail, debeerd please take pic's for me I might be interested

You need Low Impedance injectors you can get a Set of high impedance 550cc injectors from Smart racing for R 1500.
gtr injectors are a straight fit - 450cc. not sure if they low or high impedance!
Low Impedance

rx7 13bt injectors are a straight fit - 550cc. also not sure of impedance
High IMpedance only some rare 13B had the purple top low impedance 550cc

i've had a look at the german/bosch style injectors. i think you would need some fuel rail mods to make them work - also i think they longer than jap style ones!

the pintels are way different too so you would probably need some sort of custom o-ring at the cylinder head!

oh that reminds me - when i was looking for injectors a salesman at one of the well known RC resellers, told me that they can send the bosch style injectors away to me modified to fit jap style rails. dunno how reliable that would be though - or whether you would get to keep that RC guarantee?

The bosch one are bigger on both sides with thick orings.
Yours has thin orings with smaller ends.
Dunno about modding them though :?

sounds to me like you're being a doos for the sake of being a doos wanko!!!

and i'm with debeerd on this one.

there are only 2 basic styles of aftermarket injectors that i came across when i was looking for my car!!! and they were described either as jap style or bosch style.

hmmmm - there might've been a third called subaru-style (but i cant remember properly)!!!
