T3/T28 Turbo

Post by ReeceZ »

Hi guys, I would like to get feedback from guys that are running the T3/T28 turbo (like the one Mr Turbo sells). How does it behave on the CA motor as a bolt on upgrade?

Gary has recommend a TD04L tehbo, so I'm just comparing options before I buy. I'm going to couple it with a Dicktator and bigger fuel pump.

Sorry, forgot to add that what I want from an upgraded turbo is a lekka spool up time, powerband from like 3000rpm to possibly 6000rpm. Main use -> drag racing

Wadup Reecez... If you go to the artilcles section you'll see "One Savage Project" where I'll be running the T28/T3 turbo from Mr. T... It has a T3 compressor wheel but a reasonably small compressor housing which in your case should be ideal for a bolt on as it should flow quicker in theory... Once I've gone for a test drive when the engine's in I'll let you know how it responds...
