1st stregthen the mani at mount points if and where needed to suit your application, then send it for inside and outside ceramic coating.
1) it stays silver
2) keeps heat inside the mani and forces it through the turbine, out the exhaust instead of the heat loss through a uncoated mani. This helps with better spool up as the air is hotter and denser passing through the turbo.
3) strengthens the mani, and helps to not have hot spots where heat is very concentrated. helps s that it does not crack.
4) good idea to strengthen the mani with a bracket etc, a loose engine or loose down pipe + our roads + coilovers or hard suspension + hard core driving + uncoated = probably results in them cracking after a while
some people have no problems and others do....
