Does anyone in the club have an Engine Damper and if so what are your thoughts on it?

Damn there so much on my wish list I just don’t know where to get the money

Knock-link - R1900
C-Pillar Bar - R 800
Torque Damper - R1300
Adjustable suspension - R2300
30mm front and 28mm rear sway bars
Coilovers – R 6500 Cheapest not the best
Brakes (Should be sorted with the disks and yellow stuff pads) – R 1900
Radiator - R 2200
Proper Radiator cooling ducting R 1000
Clutch System – R 2500
Fuel Cooler - R 700
Braided Clutch line - R300
Steering Bush - R 200

It just never ends and that the short list , I want to cry

steering bush.

you can buy a piece of aluminium round for about 15 bucks, cut to the correct thickness.

then use a drill press to drill the holes.

install it.

save yourself 185 bucks! :wink:

Is that for the damper?? I dont want to bracket or anything just the damper, Ill make my own brackets.

Is that for the damper?? I dont want to bracket or anything just the damper, Ill make my own brackets.

Well I bought one, so we will see if this dampener works. Was Expencive around R 550

Ford "Big 6" V6 engine mounts, solid rubber, not liquid filled like the stock SX stuff, R40 each from autozone, that gonna be my dampener! :P
