Even though the internals are the same, the bellhousings / bolt patterns are different, you will need a sr20 RWD gearbox.

But strangely you can get a SR flywheel to bolt onto a CA18.

But like Sokat said the SR box will be needed

yeah that should be quite easy? way easier than going to the importers and picking up an SR20 gearbox???

Some people have the brains tools and time to do that so if that saves him money...let him try. I'm just giving him options.

i dont think making something from scratch yourself could ever be cheaper than buying it from a manufacturer who has engineered it in such a way that they can make thousands of copies.

my "engineer" always says to me "if you ask me to make only one item, then it will cost a fortune... but if you ask me to make thousands then it will cost very very little!"

Take Riekerts dash leds...he makes them himself, enjoys it, takes some of his time, and costs him not even a tenth of what I paid for mine. point proven then!

Thats the point...I know how much it cost him coz I was pissed after he told me he paid a tenth of the price that I paid for mine.
