one more thing - when you pitch you can ask for Florin he is the bloke that is arranging the hole thing and would be in charge of proceedings to keep things safe to a point that we all dont self destruct.

I have never seen actual drigting except at wesbank at the
Ultimate Street Car Challenge.
I'm verry keen to learn more!

Florin is my buddy. He is from Romania and has just bought himself
a SKYLINE R33 it is with him that I told jay boy I was going to wesbank
on Wednesday night.
He is verry keen for us to start a drift club!!

that was a damn nice day to join.

awesome to meet everyone, see the wikked cars, and watch some first timers drifting well (jayboy specially) ...

and see that r33 drifting so sweetly.

the modded cars were hectic too - the skyline powered s14, the M powered e30, the modded FC rotary was awesome too.

Hi everybody,

I am Florin.

I will like to thanks to all of you who came at wesbank today, it was a great day, and thank you again for your support.

I hope you had fun today on the track, I been reading the previous pages and as you sow today the skid pan is a bit diferent from proper drifting. I am proud to say that what we done today was proper drifting and if you are hooked we will set this drifting club properly and have some real fun !

The drift club is going to be called "THE SLIDERS"

If you think you have better names on mind you are more than welcome to put them on the table.

Thanks Florin for organising this. We tried before to organise a drift event but it ended up being too expensive. Looking forward to the future events!

This was the first time I saw cars drifting on a track in real life, and it was a LOT of fun! It was even better to ride shotgun with "Super Newbie" (Snooby) as he got to grips with getting the tail out. J-boy seems to have taken to drifting like a duck to water - sweet drifting, man!

I will post pics and vids during the week. Right now, I gotta go prepare for my "repair & braai" event

We burnt in the sun like 32 deg hot, but it was awesome to view some drifting. Although I did not participate, I enjoyed the whole affair. Meeting new members and meeting Florin.
A special thumbs up to Jay Boy. Man did I enjoy his drifting effort being his passenger. Jay Boy you go for this. You know what you want and so keep on working on the dream. Well done and it was nice seeing you enjoying yourself doing some drifting.
And it looks like Bruno and Snooby are going to follow suite.
Jay Boy thanks for delivering my front spoiler/skirting to me.

thanks it was great just want to thank florin for organizing the whole thing you got me hooked and thanks to all the positive feedback that i got and getting from all you guys really boosting my self confidance

had a blast and learned allot, and even impressed myself! Just want to say that bruno exelent! And snoob is the rain master! Lol hope to see you guys at the next event even if you just come to watch its great fun to see it in real life! And freddy it was my pleasure to bring your stuff for you just to see that big smile on your face!

Florin and all the other guys, thank you for the experience, jay boy you did us proud, if I wasn't so scared of breaking my baby and had the money to drift I would skid around that track the whole day!!!!!

Also - do you need MSA license etc etc?
