a dashboard takes less than an hour to remove. i bet if you hurry you could do it in half an hour!!!
and if the dashboard really cant be removed, then a simple stanley knife means that you dont have to remove the dash to get the carpet out.

I removed my entire dash about 3 weeks ago... go check on the nico forums on how to do it.
you actually only have to remove the console. the rest you can cut behind the dash to remove. it's about 2 x 200mm long cuts to get it out.
The rest is fairly simple, like removing the seats and other trim parts...
I will upload my "Project - New dash" in the week for you okes to see...
