Cleaning your AFM

So how do I clean my AFM. Rather asking so I dont damage it!

A solvent that won't eat the wires... I bought some 100% alcohol from chemist & ear buds, and yes carefully wiped the afm wires clean...

That was back in the day before I ditched the AFM

that wont work for me - a dry earbud wont do anything, and after all that alco ill strip my moer and stick a screwdriver in there to scrape with

Carb cleaner, that stuff that comes in a tin that u spray into a carb.
carefully remove the bit of AFM with the wires and spray the carb cleaner onto it. works a charm
