rat - you need to make sure exactly what you are getting!!!

the FWD DE cam is the upgrade cam, the one with more lift and duration.

the FWD DET cam is the same as the RWD CAM.

so be sure.

and you can pick up a used cam at a scrapper for R300-00. not sure what shipping would be, but it cant be that much!!!

I have two sets of fwd DE camshafts and I have one complete fwd DET engine with the cams still on them.My friend was rebuilding his fwd DET engine and we looked at the DE camshafts for it but to us they where the same.I think the rwd DET cams are different but I havent got my hands on one yet to check. The cams are readily available for anyone with rwd camshaft to check. My car came std with the ca18de so the cams are off there.

only the intake cam is different by the way.

and for us 200sx owners, the FWD DE intake cam is the one to have, because it has more lift and duration!

the rest are the same! the DRT cams are the same as the DET cams!

Oh I just remembered that the engine I have is from a bluebird u12 that comes with a four wheel drive auto transmission with the top mount intercooler so that might make a difference.
