here's my humble opinion...
it seems that a hillybilly is selling the chip.
i imagine a dude sitting on that there thar porch, drinking moonshine, and staring at his sisters tits, saying "ya see sonnyboy, i'm gonna get me stinkin rich sellin this here electronical stuff to them idjits on that there interweb, ya hear... and thens me an you gonna pur-chase us a new kettil to pro-duce somes more 'oonshine... yeee-yaaahhh!!!"
the reason for my comments... a quote from the site:
"Profesional installation is recommended but if you can solder good you can install the chip yourself."
the spell and grammar check must'ev missed that one.
as for a real opinion on the deal, you should ask PHINX. he's done some serious research into this sector of our sx market!

are there any product reviews???
cos those chips are quite easy to solder into the mainboard, although its nice to get an eprom adapter thingy, and then you can swap out chips by plugging them in and out.
toby should have more info on that - but its basically a slotted bracket thing that you press the chip into, instead of having to try to solder it directly to the board!

I would be very wary of buying chips off the net like that. Even if they do work and you do get great dyno charts from someone, that doesn't mean it will work HERE on OUR cars. These maps are affected by a lot of things, including quality and RON rating of fuel, average ambient and extreme temperatures and humidity, height above sea level, what particular fuel pump (or other part) they used in our model cars vs the USA models, etc. They may also have side efffects that are not publicised, for example over-fuelling and overly high fuel consumptions, idling problems, etc.
