FPR

hi, do the FPR give hassles quite often and what would generally be symptoms of a faulty FPR. also how would one stop over fueling. thanks

Hi Greg, well normally it does not give problems, the best way to test is to go to a mack and let them check the fuel pressure if you can't yourself, overfueling is mostly because of service related things and ECU problems....you should take time and eliminate things 1 by 1.

And as freddy said, go to the trouble shoot of the manual and check for causes for over fueling

My sx is also overfeuling now. I flat the engine easy while starting and you smell petrol like mad.
Yes at this stage I suspect ECU and my piggy back. But forsure eliminating possible courses is the way to go. Toby and myself recently has done this again to try and find my sx idle problem. And then we discover a faulty engine temp switch. At least that could be addressed.
Greg, also I have a spare FPR stock item for u to try out, but yes the distance between us can be difficult, but y never know.
