I want to replace my shocks on my car.
Got a price from a company, all 4 shocks for R3755. What do you guys think? Its Monroe Shocks.
I think thats how you spell Monroe!

That is good shocks at a all right price, as far as I know you could get chepo adjustable shocks and coils for somewhere under R3000...if it's better than monroe I don't know...

Give Maxi Wheel & Tyre in Blackheath a call.
I would suggest sticking to KYB shocks if possible. They are the OEM parts for our cars.

Suspension and brakes are two areas where you really shouldn't take the cheap shortcut, rather save up for a few months and get koni's, bilstein's or some other reputable make. Monroe, Armstrong, etc do not make performance shocks as far as I know. If you're going to hammer your car then get the shocks designed for the job.
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

Just get Tein Superstreet with 16 way adjustment and top camberplates.
They are only R11K and really worth it.
On a different note-iI got the standard shocks and springs... make me a price.
The one rear shock was gone, the others was still fine.
My car's a Hybrid - it burns gas and rubber

no offence nismo,
but I prefer to get new ones, sorry. Certain things I dont buy second hand.
I wish I had the type of cash to buy decent ones, but I dont. Stock will have to do for now.
Shocks are so bad now I get sea sick in my car! so its quite urgent!
