Hey guys,
Just a quick question, where do you guys get your gasket sets from?
My mechanic is struggling to get the gaskets from Nissan, they sent ones for the 2.0l sentra

Vlade, you said something about this in a previous post. Can we still get the full rebuild payen sets that we used to gt from autozone? Was about R1180
If not, whats the alternative at the moment?

Most spares places can get you gasket sets you just need to know what to ask for...
ask for a CA18DE gasket set, forget the T...
Alert in PTA and QEC will most definitely have for you.
Payen are very very scarce now a days, but the Fong-Kong sets aren't bad for R280

Alert and QEC supply most Autozone's in PTA
Product number for the gasket is GS050
Payen is on a country wide shortage, word is its out of production, but I find it hard to believe since Payen is known to supply gasket sets for vintage vehicles...

It was a Sparex Set, Only Autozone package Sparex to my understanding
Also be carefull Alert Seems to F#$k-up orders and pricing...
Also tell them to go to the back and check the stock

any nissan dealer.
just cough up and go get the real deal, you get almost everything for less than 2 grand! and a decent HG, which is always good!
i use the guys on main road in randburg, there's a spares salesperson there who knows what i am talking about when i say 200sx (maybe cos i've been in there so many times), and he knows how to read a catalogue properly, and how to order the right part number from said catalogue!!!!
