Agreed.
on a stock motor?

Maybe I should source a further R3k or so and look for a SR20.

SR20 ?

If you want to waste you money feel free...
Unless a a black top (maybe) or a full tilt race rebuild with High boost, I would stay with the Ca18det...

I have run with a couple of S-14 and SR20DET powered sentra's and the CA can hold it own.

You can also mybe look at a Better turbo like a S-14 unit or a GTI-R unit or even master power T3 for around R 3000...

My CA has nearly 300k kms on it.

So it's bound to need a rebuild soon, or I'm guessing soemthing will break the minute I try to produce more power out of it...

I know they aint bad motors in terms of power etc.

I ran a 15.1 at dragwars on a very hot day in a very strong headwind on street fuel and tyres, stock boost. Just with filter and exhaust. No dyno tuning or anything. So they are certainly capable.

Yeah was running that time consistently that day and was hoping to break a 14.9. If it wasn't for the hectic heat and head wind then it probably would have.

Any of you see those local LSD's in the last SNS mag?

If it's not too pricey then that is also an option. And I completely forgot that I still need to do a walbro pump on this baby.
