not sure of offset, but the usual is mostly somewhere between 34 and 42.
i'm running 17" by 7" wide, and my offset is 17 in front and 19 at the back. i only get slight rubbing when the car is really low because i'm running larger tires of 225/45/17.
most people go for 205/40/17 and that doesnt rub at all.
have you tried a mag shop - like tires on 14th???
