ACL Race Bearings...

Post by Phinx »

HI Guys...

Do you know of anyone that sells ACL Race bearing for a CA18DET?
The RACE series Stuff

I have checked ACL supplier list and there are only two company's in SA. One no longer sells to the public the other one only sells V8 stuff.

I have also tried import parts, Performance SA , Turbo and NOS, ECT...

Any help welcome with contact details

Contact Vlade, I think he's used the Duraglide series though as the Race series aren't meant for daily drivers or something to that effect.

I may be smoking my socks so just speak to him :D
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

yip... well that is what ACL told me, I mailed them said I cannot get ACL race bearings in oversize, they came back and asked what my application was

told them street and drift, they said they don't produce oversize bearings for CA no more, although there might be vendors that still keeps stock, they also said they recommend Duraglide series, and there is nothing wrong in using the race series, but they are more geared for motors that are frequently rebuilt.

got ACL duraglides in now... got them from Alert spares, just ask for them, they are a bit more pricey than other brands

Im looking for Stock...
I will need to confirm with the enginneers when they polish the crank.

But its the crank from the Spare CA.
Im looking for Race Series, Not really interested in Duraglide but I will go that route if I cant get.

Rezlo doesnt sell to the public anymore... I have asked.

Why you not interested in the duraglide if the race series is more for race motors that get rebuilt often?? I thought you never wanted to open the motor again??
