ca 18det std pistons

Hi all

I am currently looking for std pistons for the ca 18det as mine where lost to detonation.If anyone has some pricing on forged pistons also that would be great.

R 5000 Cheapest quote with Rings...

R 4500 without rings...

Why where you detting so much? to fry a piston?

cool,I changed the turbo and fitted one of the sr 20 det which really kicked ass but i think it had something to do with the fuel pump in the car.Not too sure yet.

Stock pump cant handle more then stock fuel flow at all ,
It has a very low flow rate.

What boost was the SR T28 set at?

Anything above 0.6 bar will need fueling to be sorted.
I might have a Piston Set for you.

hmmm - mine cost R3800-00 with rings!!!

call turboNOS, the last time i checked the price had gone up to R4000-00.

But yours still had to be modified right?

not really - i went with 1mm oversized. thats what the issue was.

and the forged pistons have a bigger gudgeon pin. so my engineer had to resleeve my small ends.

no biggie!!! they have to sort that shit out anyway!!!!
