hey hennie,

i think G alluded to a difference between the colours, specially with regards to the squeaking!!!

doesnt matter really. i've had no squeaking at all, and they've been in there for a long time!!!

With shipping the kits work out to US $160. ($110 + $45 shipping)

So roughly R1100 + R220 (import duty) + R155 (VAT)

Total R1475.

Vaughn how did you get yours so cheap?

had a buddy who brought them back for me as a gift from the US.

he had them in his luggage!

also i bought them on summit racing at $129, and they had free local ground shipping.

at the time the exchange rate was low too.

$129? So the $110 is actually not bad.

It's the shipping that's a killer. Also, our fantastic govt has increases import duties for individuals from 10% to 20%!!

I think this, together with the tein lowering kit would be good enough for drifting. Coil overs probably overkill at the moment.

they can and are manufactured here for many vehicles, but the problem is that no-one has developed a full kit for our sx's here.

polyurethane bushes are manufactured by pouring liquid polyurethane into moulds. there are other plastics which are just as good, some even better, but they're expensive.

Group buy 1 set, then take it to somebody like Van Zyl spring works, Vic's Spring Sales or anybody who will pour liquid polyurethane into moulds. :?:
