Injectors
I'm looking for the exact model of injectors that bosch makes for the CA18DET... mine are leaking and need new ones urgently, i don't want the stock ones because apparently they have this problem of leaking all the time.
If anybody has any or at least know the model of injectors so that i could order them them.
Also my other S13 with the accident is still for sale but i am unsure whether to sell as is or to strip it, which do you guys thing would be a better option considering money.

There are normally 2 black rubber bands around the injector sealing it 1st from the engine side, 2nd from the outside. Small 1 at the bottom seals the injector body from the manifold. Top o-rings seals the injector where it goes trough the top of the fuel rail. R20 should buy you 8 x o-ringsJinx wrote:um o-rings?

you need to find out if the body of the injector is leaking or if its the seals as mentioned in previous posts.
if its the body, the metal housing of the injector, then its time for new ones.
i'm not sure if bosch make injectors for our cars, but you do have a number of different options if you do need new injectors.
also, its not that the stock injectors leak all the time. people forget that these cars are generally 15-16 years old, and have lasted through all those years of abuse. new injectors from nissan shouldn't leak for a very long time, but will cost about R2500-00 each!!! ouch!
how about just selling me the body without the CA18det. hehehe, i'm gonna need a donor car soon.

well i took my car to the calibrator to get some stuff done
all he said was "the injectors are leaking" and he tried to order new ones but the retards sent the wrong ones, so i think thats what the prob is and not the o-rings but i'll check it out anyhoo.
on a different note, my engine started making a subtle clicking noise that sounded like at was coming from the fan belt, and my initial thought was that it was touching something but then it started getting really bad and now me suspects something to do with the engine, is this possible?
the calibrator said that my engine damage was quite bad because the guy who i bought the car froms turbo gauge was lying when it said it boosted nearly up to 0.9 bar when it actually boosted 1.2 bar.. so i'll be needing a new engine soon... could this clicking noise be the first sign?
and where do i take my car for a service now that cali is in ausy?

Ticking noise, over boosting, what is going on?
Does the ticking noise get faster as the engine RPM rises?
Dude, bring the car to me tomorrow afternoon.
I gotta hear this & make sure the engine is good.
