fuel warning light

who knows on an S13 how far could you drive(or how much fuel is left) after the light comes on

i once made it home from wesbank with my fuel light that came on as i left the track.

its about 25-30km's, but i drove off boost like a se-ri-usss granny to get home.

the next day i had to drive a couple of hundred meters to the petrol station.

car didnt hesitate once!!!

Mine starts to "hesitate" as soon as the light is on and I find myself on a litlle incline....alot of hesitation....thats why I fill before the light thinks of coming on...

My sx's feul warning led does not work any more :( :(

My sx's feul warning led does not work any more
Nor does mine... there is a little battery shaped goodie that goes in the tank and clips onto the float, mine is dead and you have to buy a whole pump to get it.

Gary, I know , I saw that little thingie. What you mean by dead. What type of transducer is that? Do y know? Cant we overhaul the bloody thing? :roll:

The little thing that has 1 wire coming out of it... nope I cant see us overhauling it :lol: . I have no idea what it even is, maybe one of the computer fundies here will know?!

I tried to clean the thing, with the hope that what is stuck in there will now be unstucked, but no --- no joy. Must be some sort of transducer? 8)
