he's a romanian foregin national living in SA, and he's fully within the limits of the law to import this vehicle and sell it once he's finished with it!
How does that work.
Explain.
I'm a Portuguese citizen (and SA citizen).
Can I go get an import?

When I tried you had to be out the country for at least 2 years and owned the car for at least 1 year. I think this is the only legal way of importing cars.

you need have owned a vehicle in the other country for at least 6 months.

you need to have lived in the other country for some time, could be two years, not really sure!!!

and you're not allowed to resell the vehicle in SA for at least two years!

2 years living there! IESH

No way I'm going to Protugal.
And if i went to the UK for 2 years i don't think i would come back here.

Guv-ment do make it impossible to get an import.
