can you remove the std fan and put a electrical fan in its place.

No not really I've noticed if the fan is too strong it slows my car down, cause it blows air to the front, but if it sucks then its fine.
Yeah one can do it... just make sure you get decent fans that have a good cfm rating... think you need about 1600cfm in total to have good cooling.

ye, it works like a bomb, just remember to wire it so it comes on aswell when you switch the aircon on, not only at a certain temp, many forget to do it.

True, true. I'll wire it to the aircon and thermostat as well as having an overide switch for those hot days. But where in capetown can i source 2 fans? Will 200sti fans work? I checked they have 2 fans on the radiator.

stupid question is there a problem with the stock fan? If not dont waste your time and money fixing somethiong that aint broke.
Rather spend it on the brakes or Suspension which more than likely need lots of TLC

The std fan has a viscous coupling so it only works at low speeds. Also its a little known fact but any electrical thing robs power as it places a laod on the alternator.

Ah ok. So i'll rather spend the money on the suspension.
