cos i cant install my r32 calipers at the moment because i cant afford the disc/pad combo from powerbrake.

those pads are much cheaper and easily available from my local parts dealer!

Pads cost me R695 as I said for my Z32 calipers. I am up for new disc now aswell, I have developed a shudder, but not too bad after 8 years. BIG $$$ because they are 325mm  .

Front Ferodo FDB986 - same as 300zx and Scooby
Rear - Ferodo FDB756 or Auto Bahn D3269

The OEM Nissan pads works ok for about 2000km under hard driving then starts to shudder. Had to skim the front. Since switching to Ferodo, no more shudder and no wear on the disc. 100% improvement. Just be carefull, the ceramic pads are a bit scarry when cold, be careful.
At 1 stage couldn't get Ferodo rears and where quite impressed with the Auto Bahn rears. Never paid more than about R450 at Midas for the front pads.

Yip, even after I skimmed the front dics... With new Nissan pads it gone, but the 1st time under continues hard braking, they overheat and then shudders. The Ferodo does that when there is very little pad left, about 2 or 3 mm thick, simply overheats.

I have never heard of pads causing a shudder, ever. The reason I ask is since I fitted my Z32 calipers I have a brake shudder. Now I just put it down to the fact that I might be braking on a new part of the disc.

The reason I have never heard of pads causing a shudder is because pads can wear in to suit the disc.

Anyone else got any views on this before I order my new discs??
