Got some tyres for the wheels today. My engine crane is busy and needs to go for a service. So no test fitting motor yet

Re: Project - Evil D
Thanks guys!
Thanks. Hopefully everything works when I plug it all it. haha.
Yeah still trying to figure out how I will mount everything under the battery there. As I don't want o remove the bumper every time I want to check a relay/fuse... So will need to make like a trap door under the battery tray for easier access... Still going to be a while before I do that but will take some pics etc when I do
Also I'm glad you bought your old SX back! That thing is mint!

Re: Project - Evil D
Was actually thinking Matt bronze as my previous wheels was that colour and I loved it.

Re: Project - Evil D
So some more progress. Over the weekend...
New steering wheel swopped for tyres[emoji14]
Also...
Testfit success! Whoohoo!
Low!
Clearance is minimal but radiator should fit [emoji15]
Side clearance is 100% and enough to fit a supercharger later on[emoji14]
Exhuast side...
Only issue is the sump that knocks the swaybar. So will need to modify that.
One more of front clearance
Rear clearance
Nice thing everything bolts to the stock gearbox mounts so no modding of the prop[emoji16]
Struggled 3 hours to remove one mount... Then 5 min with the angle grinder and the other one was off...
Some more...
Gearbox mounted to motor
Whoohoo.
Busy mocking up engine mount brackets ect. Want to try weld the brackets this weekend.

Re: Project - Evil D
So first L28 swapped s13 in south Africa? Maybe? Haha.
Built a mock up template for the one engine mount. Will cut and weld it tomorrow or Sunday and see how it sits
