200SX S13 Bolt-In rollcages

Post by mario_200sx »

Hey guys.

Our new JIG is done, we are now ready to start selling our revised design (now sunroof friendly).

We are doing a introduction price of R5500 (normal price will be R6000). These are dash dodger cages, however if you would like a straight bar (dash will need to be cut then), just let me know.

Cage specs:
- Main hoop 45 OD & 3mm thick CDS
- Rest 38 OD & 3mm thick CDS
- 120mm x 120mm 3mm thick base plates
- 10mm bolts with minimum of ISO 8.8 rating
- 26.5 kg in total

These were cleared by MSA when Supradrift was held in Cape Town, our sponsored SX competed in the event with our cage installed.

Door bars can be done at a additional charge, but I do not promote this if car is used on the street.

These are perfect for track days or those that use their road cars for a bit of drifting. Takes that extra twist out of the chassis.

Only 2 spanners needed and 15-20 minutes to install.

Only other way is to weld it to your floor.

How legal are they without door braces? They gave my one friend hell with his civic because his back seats were out and he had a strut bar across his c pillars, i would love a roll cage though, can you powder coat them in any color?

Any Chance you could fabricate a half cage?

would you also do weld in cage kits? suppose you can do all the bends and one could just cut and weld the cage in if you wanted to.
There are three easy ways of losing money - racing is the quickest, women the most pleasant, and owning an SX the most certain.

Weld in cage can only be done if local to Cape Town.

The bolt-in cage can be ordered and the foot plates be welded to the chassis if needed.
