Don't know if this is the correct link, as I don't have my old archived info anymore.

Re: CA18DET Cam options
The research ive done indicates that without a proper adjustable cam pulley its quite pointless installing the CA18DET exhaust cam on the intake side as the timing is slightly out, you can sort of make it right by advancing it or retarding it 1 tooth i hear but its still not right as it needs to be moved half a tooth, cant remember the degrees and in depth detail was long ago i read up about it, they say the CA18DE intake cam is the best way to go as you get the benefit of the increased lift like the CA18DET exhaust cam except you dont need to mess around with timing as you can just put the CA18DE cam in and align it as you would factory and itl be 100percent. Ive seen pics of guys drilling the cam pulley holes bigger on the standard pulley alowing slight adjustment for use of the CA18DET exhaust cam on the intake side. but to me i feel its far too much effort for very minimal gain, plus theres a difference between the JAP spec cams and the Euro spec cams aswell so they say on the other forums, ive got JDM 8-port, so it really gets confusing if you do some in depth research and theres alot of mixed results im not willing to play around with for a small gain.

I got another exhaust cam might just mess around a bit with it but from what I read if you have adjustable cam pullies you can get a decent gain
