So who is screwing who?

ALB say they are real, they defiantly are not real.

Who knows if ALB are the importers or if they are buying from a local supplier, either way, at that price, almost half the price of genuine before you factor shipping and duty, they claim they are real? only an idiot would think they are real

Filters, rods, pistons, gaskets, bov's, turbo's etc. So much fake being sold by apparent reputable companies/dealers, ok well ALB isnt exactly reputable, but there are reputable retailers that have been caught out selling fake shit as well.

I really hope some of those people that get duped start taking legal action, its only the customers loosing out now.

Eish man, that is a little bit harsh. ALB is a respected tuning house, and they have earned respect where it matters and that is with their good quality products (and on the track and their top quality bulds btw). Which other company would admit to making a mistake, and that is all it really is a mistake?

Big ups to them for admitting and refunding the guys!! [smilie=200sx_200sx.gif]

Lol these where brought in thru a supplier. Turned out we got the wrong order. Very simple. And as for reputable yes we are, hence the retraction upon realizing our little mis fortunate expeariance. Things happen and these are one of those. We never said they real either, we assumed they were. And at ALB customers will not loose out, money is too hard to make and we respect that completely.

Oh and another thing I have been on this forum for longer than yesterday, I have met a lot of members and they know me personally, do you think for one second I would risk my good name if I was aware of this? Please feel free to come see me and I will give you tour of our facility and discuss what we stand for, my door is always open. Consider that a personal invite from one RB owner to another.

blame it on a supplier, a supplier who clearly sells genuine and fake versions of the same item? and you never thought maybe because they were half the price of genuine including your markup they might not be legit? and you didn't "realize" you were told by a fellow forum member, and actually ALB did say they were genuine
ALB Performance wrote:Yes these are genuine. I'm sure it will fit yes
Because you have been around this forum for a while and people have met you doesnt make this any less shady, another reason I import all my own parts

Like I said come see me anytime. Would love to meet you and clear this up. Riekert please delete this thread this is a pointless exercise. After explaining the issue more than once it does not seem to sink in. FYI these were sold at cost. No markup. Special being the key word here.

Clear what up? you got caught out selling fake parts, now you want the post deleted so it doesn't tarnish your reputation? which by the way, is not nearly as fantastic as you might think it is.

Your right though, "Special" is the key word here, it would be the kind of mentality you presume the end customer has to believe that because you claim your selling it at cost means your able to retail at half the price they cost in the open market? do you believe the own rubbish you talk? Fact of the matter is you got caught selling a $20 fake product at 100+% markup and making claims like "ohh we never said they were real either" to try cover up before blaming a supplier?
