So dudes, who's got a cometic HG laying around, 1.5 mm by 83.5 or 84 mm. Here's the catch, I only have R1000 :)

remember to make sure that your head AND block is PERFECTLY flat , otherwise your multi layer stainless steel headgasket is gonna make you cry.. :mrgreen:

This is correct....this is very correct. Block and head must have a 50RA finish as Cometic specify or you will have leaks.I asked a reputable motor engineering comany to give my heads and block a 50 RA finish and he asked me what is that. :facepalm:

Thanks for the advice guys, knew that part but was gonna fly by the seat of my pants hahahaha..doesn't really matter if I don't get a cometic HG does it...

spray some copper gasket sealer on both sides of your metal head gasket before putting it on and there is a lot less chance of a leak.

Thats what I did last time, I think my arp head studs was to long so it could not be tightened proparly.
