S14 Front wheel hubs / studs

Post by fuzz123 »

Howzit guys,

The previous owner used spacers to get the mags over the front calipers and by doing that greatly reduced the amount of thread available to tie the nuts down. I realized this morning that the left hand side wheel has stripped almost all the studs already.

So I need new front hubs, and if possible I need ones with longer studs on them...

Can anyone please help? Or point me in a direction where I can purchase some... [smilie=200sx_1eye.gif]

So I found these :

http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/AR ... 52d98.html

Knurl Length (in) 0.315 in.

S14 Front : ARP 100-7717
Thread Size 12mm x 1.50 RH
Knurl Diameter (in.) 0.565 in.
Underhead Length (in) 3.000 in.

But they do not ship to SA....does someone know where I can get these locally?

Knock out the studs and put longer ones in. Don't need whole hub unless your wheel bearing has gone.

Ok so:

I ended up importing the studs through Turbo Direct, they cost me R741 for 10 studs and it is ARP products so I know the quality is good!

The sad thing is that I still could not find anyone else who is willing to import ARP products for me apart from Turbo Direct.... and I cannot import directly myself.

Anyways, I guess all is well that ends well!!

Bleh BK! Why did you only say something now...

I honestly tried everyone and everything I knew...but now I will know for the future. :D

Atleast I know that ARP is very good quality, and that it wont be a waste of money.

I would have settled for other brands but I could only find ARP....

Sorry bud, I ended up buying only studs from Reliable bolt and nut....Turbo Direct is so useless that I am still waiting for them to tell me where the studs are.
