Having a knife edged crank WILL give you spun bearings very early in its lifespan.

You can trim some of the weight off the crank, but I woul not advice a knife edge......

Hope she is up and running soon!
Why would a knife edge crank spin bearings? If the crank is knife edge and correctly balanced to the piston and rods that is impossible.

Never heard this in my life.

PS my CA crank was knife edge balanced 150 000km and it never ran a bearing...
Have you got pictures of your cranks knife edging?
Nope, but doesn't change the point that a properly balanced crank whether it be knife edged or drilled cannot cause you to run bearings...

Have the bearings and everything checked, the bearings is a bit tight but will see if I can turn by hand when I assemble, need gasget kit and cometic hg, then I can clean and assemble, don't have money for either so basicly no progress but thanks for asking.

Jason, people like me and Derek are "Married with Children" u can call us "Al Bundy" for short....... Or even shorter answer would be " It's gonna take long " lol..... Derek, real shame that she's stuffed again man..... It's like you wish sometimes the wife would break and the car would keep on running it's turbo, when infact the car breaks down and the wife keeps on running her mouth rather, lol..... (And if my wife ever gets to read this..... I'm just joking luvie)
