So while I had some time off I decided ill get my car ready for the motor swap..

Ripped out the dash
Started to pull the wire harness and fuze boxes out.
Got the whole haness out. What a mission to unclup unplug everything.
In total it weighs 13kg

So ill be pulling out all the unused wire from it then put it all back with new gauges

Next on the list was ripping out the aircon unit in the car and the heating system..
I will be using the heaters rad but relocating in to the front for some better air flow.

Well I've take the heater and controll unite out of the car. So instead of taking it out completley I'm going to relocate it to still use it.

so this is what ive been up to the last week..
had some fun with more wires (never again [smilie=200sx_2guns.gif] )
ive taken out +- 5kg of unused wire, most of it was in the front of the car. why nissan went the long way around when wiring the car beats me

anyways will probably use some to wire up the relays but not even half of it Image

whats left of my fuse box NOT much at all

decided to add some colour to my ecu mounting pannel

so stripped and cleaned some more today

dropped the sump to see what its like in there..
seems all good considering the sump is open at the top where the dip stick goes
Image

was all the same shit that was out side on the sump
ImageImage

so put the sump back, dropped in some oil that i will be using to flush the motor with.
cranked it over by hand. all seems to be working like it should

got some clean cam covers now
