Great build here btw..
Thanks man. Unfortunately for the time being I'm using the original stuff. It will be going onto the car shortly.
I removed it all during fabrication and instillation
Ah, ok. Saw you had S14.5 /Silvia headlamps in..
It's a kouki which was basically just a face lift package from the zenki
Here is the car in its trim. Maybe this will help explain
If you go to the first page of this thread you will se the car in its standard trim.
I will, in the new year, be cutting my std. fender on the rear to add about a 50mm "wedge" and pull the fenders outwards. I don`t particularly like glass over fenders . Have widened many an Alfa Romeo rear fender like this, it still looks factory but with a twist.
You still have all your aircon/heater stuff from within the car ? If you have removed all that I would be interested in taking that off your hands..

I would agree with you 'IF' he was building a show car .. However you have to remember what the car is being built for - drift - which is a contact sport. Rivetted fenders are far better suited ... easily replaced .. no mess or fuss and they lighter.
For sure it's not the prettiest look. But for the purpose of the car. A pure track and trailer car to compete in. I know the fenders are gonna be trashed. So I need an alternative. I can't keep on panel beating each time I have a momentary loss of talent.
Slap on new glass fender chuck stickers on it and off to the track!
