Lol, as long as the bonnet is in good shape it can easily be done. Pricing will depend on skinning only or full carbon bonnet.

hmmmm, thats never good. Makes the whole process very difficult. I can get it fixed and looking good again, but its going to be extra.....and a panel shop will need to do it.

Hey guys, did my brother's engine cover for his golf 6.

Changing the design for the next one as the TSI bage doesnt come out well. So will be pulling a mould and blanking off the TSI badge and will be making TSI gel coat stickers.

Where the oil cap goes you can see in the pic it went a bit wrong there but that was fixed later.....

Here is a example, please remember this was just a trial with these specific cover to see how much detail I can get out of the skinning.

Hi Mario

That looks awesome!

Just a suggestion. For dress up parts try a lighter C.F. with a tighter weave. The finish product comes out better.
It's easier to work with as well.

Have a look at the Audi DTM A4 boot lip and Merc Avant-garde interior.
400-600g is more suited to medium panels.

Thanks for the advice......

Was thinking the same thing. I was use to working with this weave on a larger items. Misjudged myself a bit with this one!

Next one will be perfect.

Some wings, splitters, diffusers and intakes comeing soon.

Considering what you did with that weave, you deserve a pat on the back.

I know how hard it is to work with C.F..

Remember the big budget companies use prepreg C.F. and they don't have to worry about the weave moving.

It's a awesome feeling to create something out of nothing!
