Turbo timers - Your toughts on the brands

Howzit guys looking for a turbo time, some of the ones available in SA seem to be knock offs, what do you guys have in your Sx's?
Anybody got the Autogauge one?

Options and prices would be helpful.

Give Charl a PM , Last time he had 2-3 APEXI Turbo timers left , for a very good price , Its an excelent turbo timer , works well and is small so you can hide it away !

Thanks for the heads up, what was the price.. cos I know the Apexi ones go for about R1000+ (proper thing)

D1 spec anything comes second to chewing your own arm off. Extremely poor quality and build. I also do not trust the readings from any thing D1.

Been there, bought them, dumped them.

Gizzmo or genuine Greddy.

thanks guys, i was looking for a bit of feed back like that, i dont really trust anything thats brand name for under R1000 these days.

Renier i PM'd you about a lil flavour.
ill check the ARK timer out now.. do you have one and does it come with the harness?

harnes is $25 plug and play
or just wire it in to the car

a buddy had one it awesome and small fits in the spare slot on the right side of your steering/cluster panel

will be buying one soon

Apexi has knockoffs in SA... get a proper one... or HKS, Blitz or GReddy

It's a turbo timer for crying out load... it's a glorified egg timer that let's you pull you key out the ignition while you walk away and look gangster (while letting the engine cool a little with the doors locked), if you wanted one with AFR reading than thats another story... Import and spend top $

Had a knock off apexi in my SX. Paid R450. Didn't have any problems.
