Ahoy!

I have been to both events and only end up chatting to the Jozi guys as I know them.
Yet to meet one of the DBN Boys. :(

entered another event today... had a TOTAL blast.

The "track" was put together at the old Durban Drive In for the WRC Bid. the course was terrible quality tar and lots of loose gravel everywhere making the brake pedal useless. They put Steel fences on the course instead of cones wich was a terrible call IMO. Lots of guys pulled out on the Sighting lap for fear of scratching there Polish jobs. Of the guys that did enter... lots of carnage.. from bent cars to bent Simmons wheels :( . Shane Gutziet did some pretty nasty stuff to his pretty blue 32 :(

@Gumtree SR is being a little champ! Though i think my current tune is a bit rich as the oil is very thin now. On my first lap i whent in way to hot for the loose gravel at corner 1 and totally nomnomed like 3 fences in a row ha ha ( halfway for ladies :) ) my damage toll includes some more bodywork and rear quarter window gone ... im still so stoked!! ..getting transitions right and finally just enjoying the car. Though at this rate i will need a new shell ... my plan is for this SX to become a Drift Missile and i'll build a Neat proper sx for big events as im hoping to try follow the SuperDrift calender next year as much as possible.. atleast this is my current goal... depending on cash flow.

Power is nothing without control,
Control is not fun without power.
Traction is over rated.

if all goes to plan, it should be ready just in time for SuperDrift 08 @ the Durban Motor show.
