Have any of you taken off the original fan from the 200SX S13 and replaced it with a electric fan???
I want to take off the original fan and replace it with a electric fan or fans , i need to know what will work and where to put the thermostat fan sensor and witch thermostat sensor will work best. I have heard that a Golf 1 sensor to put on the fan will work.
Any advise for a unexperienced guy in this department??

Like they say the stock fan is great if its still working 100%.
Should you still decide to fit the electrical fans then you must get a housing made up or purchase it for the fan switch, then you need to cut your lower radiator hose and fit the housing in the pipe. You will need to run the fans through a relay, if you dont it would keep on popping the sensors.
Cant remember the temps now, but i advice you to go check in the service manaul tto find the correct engine temps for normal operation before purchasing the sensor and thermostat. Be wise RTFM! haha
If i remember correctly i have 2 15" fans, but then you need to cut the fan housings to fit. 2 X 12
fans hould work fine.
I still run the stock fan and it works great. I just wanted to know as i have heard and read that after the water pump was replaced the stock fan is no longer balanced and then the bearing on the new water pump does not last , that is why if fails in only a few km's. I thought of changing the fan to avoid this issue. Also the stock fan drains about 5kw from the motor ...hahaha... 5kw more is always welcome!

Some advice - DO NOT BUY A CHEAP ASS FAN (no name Midas/Autozone k@k).
If you want to go electric fan, do it right.
Either get an OEM fan or a good quality aftermarket one like Flex-a-lite, SPAL, etc.
I have a 16" BMW fan on mine - very effective and only needed a few small mods to fit.
Try to put the fan switch as close to the thermostat as possible (modify the thermostat cover) or the top radiator hose.

I've had a few. Currently using a Honda one - you can pick and choose what you want from a Echlin catalogue at any spares place. The one I have now switches on too quickly.
As mentioned above - use the fan switch sensor to trigger a relay - otherwise you will destroy the sensor in no time.

have you ever taken the fan off?
you will notice the 4 m6 studs are perfect fit not too much clearance to move around.
had mine of a few times now
the trick is to buy a OEM pump then it wont snap the shaft

Awesome , i will be putting a relay on to trigger the fan.
I have never taken my fan off , this will be the first time i am taking it off.
I read that even on the OEM or GMB pump the fan is sometimes not correctly balanced and the if runs out the bearing and the new pump fails.
