Hi guys
Wonder if any of you can help. I have tested the relay, on the relay point 1 and 3 i think has power the other 2 has none. Also changed the fuel pump fuse, both are working fine.
But for some reason my car still gets no power to the pump, i have tested it with the tester. Also ran a wire directly from fuel pump power to the battery so the pump is working 100% (also a new pump) So the fault is definitely wiring related.
Does anyone know where i can intercept the wire inside the cabin to test it?
(Color of the wire/ under the dash ans)
Fuel pump has no power

Re: Fuel pump has no power
You need to get hold of the manual to check the wiring diagram for the fuel pump, then you need to atleast check for continuity on the cable.
Some years back I had the same problem. Turned out I had a connection problem between the ECU and the relay box that sits by the air filter. In that instance, for me, it was easier to pull a new wire to the relay box.
So your looking for a black and yellow cable that runs from the fuel pump to the fuel pump relay, then (I THINK) black and purple runs to the S.M.J and then still B/P to pin 18 IIRC on the ecu.

Hi Danielle
Thanks i got the car going again, was hoping someone could give me quick info. Eventually stripped the driver side panels and traced the wiring to a faulty connection. Seems like the MAMPARRA's who installed the alarm years ago actually never used a soldering iron! :-Z Ill have to get in there one day and do it over again, sommer get some heat shrink and do it nicely.
