MAF for my CA nistune setup

Post by rat »

As we all know the CA18 one is good for 190HP which you can get to with a t28 and your stock injectors.

My GT28RS turbo has a 76mm intake so looking for a maf that size.

Anyone got any info for me. I see that the SR20 maf is good for 290HP

It just depends what your power goals are.

I have an SR20 one waiting for when my Nistune and 440cc's gets installed.

Rat, a quick search revealed this:

Note: I would however NOT recommend you bore out a MAF.

No to making a maf bigger.

Got GT28RS turbo and 440cc Gtr injectors which will max the ca18 maf. Also the ID of the CA maf is small, can see gains from flow with a 76mm maf and decent filter setup.

Thanks for the info

i have S14 maf and my ca is stock
it is close to maxing out when pushed hard
think it was 4.8v and max is 5.3v

dont know if changing to biger injectors will drop the maf voltage after a retune

go Z32 maf and be done with it

Definately Z32 or I think it is the Q45 which is even bigger and measures even more. Z32 will handle about 500HP and Q45 600hp as far as I know. I also use nistune and a Z32. Awesome combination.

If you want a SR MAF though I do have one that can be sent with the Nistune, make me an offer if you want.

Q45 is 90mm so a bit more space needed to fit

have heard a few guys strugle with tuning for low rpm and idle with q45

You can run a N60 or N62 MAF for the 290HP goal.

I'm running a N62 (Z32) MAF on the CA18 with 550cc injectors .

I’m running a Q45 (90mm) on the sentra with a full 90mm intake, light throttle opening tuning is an issue the problem is the size of the MAF which impacts resolution at those levels.

Q45 is rated at a lower HP then the Z32 but I have heard of them going over the 600HP mark as well.
