Please join us for this peeps! Raise as much as you can from friends, family, work colleques, whoever!

Things like food, blankets, toys, accessories etc would be greatly appreciated.

Kitty and Puppy Haven have made a few requests:

1. Money towards a new vehicle or a sponsor to come on board for a vehicle (there company car was written off)
2. They are in desperate need of kitten and puppy milk from Royal canin.
3. Good quality veterinary food (ie. Hills, Royal Canin, Eukanuba etc) is ideal.

The idea is to meet up at Wimpy for a bite to eat before we make our way to the Haven with our generous donations, once there we will hand over all of our collections and spend some time with the animals, and hopefully the Haven have a few adoptions from us on the day.

This is a worthy cause people, please do participate.

Yea, Ill join you guys but feel the forum is simply a means to an end for you here.
I continually hear how crap our forum is and nothing happens here..maybe include it and it will grow more.

I never said a single thing about the forum being crap?? Cause I don't think it is?? The only thing I think the forum is lacking is events but seeing as I'm only a member here and not part of the team I can only state the events for the other organisations I have say over and thus include other clubs where I'm just a member.

I have posted the exact same topic on various other forums as well.

Not to mis understand I SAID IT. Out of all the events I ever did a hand full of the same members always attend. Thank God for them. Barry what seems to be your issue? Please in lighten us so we can address the problem. We started JDM Syndicate out of a need to share a common interest with other brands as well. And to get more interest in all the effort we put into a event. Simple plain and sweet. Hope that clears a bit of the confusion.

Another note from the Haven: "we are desperately asking for a few things that are urgently needed at the sactuary:
* Towels
* Advantage for cats (for fleas)
* Vibrapaste (this is such a great medication for our animals, but very expensive)
* Extractor fan for our nursery area
* Shadecloth (our shadecloth over Kitty Haven is starting to look threadbare, and we don't want our kitties to escape). Can you help or know of a producer who can offer to sponsor some shadecloth or offer it at cost price?

Of course, we also always need cat beds and grey dog blankets.

There will be some publicity over the event, the likes of a local newspaper (the north eastern tribune) as well as a few journo websites. More to come!!
pls remember to support those that have no voice! Join us on the day with ur donation, bug ur friends, family, colleagues, neighbours etc to join in, even if they can't join in on the day, get there contributions
