11th Feb - Killarney race track - Drifting at the oval & box

So this coming Saturday the 11th Feb, Paul has given me the go-ahead for drifting at the oval at Killarney.

Drifting time is from 6PM - 9PM and you need to be there for registration at 5PM.
Cost is R50 as always and we will be using the box for those that are starting out...can't get cheaper than this for some legal drifting that's for sure!

I have 2 cars that will be coming to learn in the box so don't be shy, bring your SX around and lets see if you like the sport of going sideways.

For those who are more advanced the oval will be open for drifting and we may be looking at getting a couple of judged runs in on a new corner/setup by turn 3.

ALSO there WILL be tandem runs because we need to step our game up!

If anyone has the contact number for the Mr Green, please give them a shout to confirm. There will also be a few D1S drivers there yet to be confirmed, other than those listed above.

Let's bring Cape Town drifting up....there is a few ideas I have for the future of Cape Town drifting...so let's get cracking! North vs. South

You guys must organise that Killarney tar the centre on the oval track. Almost the same as the Rock raceway so you can start doing some proper drifting events. That will put drifting on the map in CPT.

I dont even go to normal events cause its just a few cars spinning in a parking lot. Not my idea of a good drift event. Please dont take it the wrong way........ I just think CPT has allot more potential than parking lot drifting..

Keep up the good work in promoting the drift scene here guys!

We can make a plan with what we have and Killarney won't do that just yet because there is no budget for it yet.
Come watch bud, we don't drift a "parking lot", we drift the oval, over 130 kmph sideways...it's exciting and fun! The box is just purely being used for the new drifters to learn.

yep i cant explain it best car iv ever owned has looks and power and its not common and i fitted a stage 3+ 6puk button clutch to the car and it bites like a bitch not nice in traffic, let me know if you going il meet up with you there acoustnic.
